CHORUS: Mom says, “Where’s the cat? I hear meows where can it be?”

                 Mom says, “Where’s the cat? Let’s go look and see.”

1.  We didn’t put it in the toilet, we learned our lesson the last time

     The poor cat was so upset, being wet was such a crime

2.  Let’s look in the hamper now under all the dirty clothes

     Maybe in the playroom wearing dresses, ribbons and bow

3.  Maybe in the kitchen cabinets with the pans and pots

     Maybe in the dresser drawers with the t-shirts and the socks

4.  Hey, Mom we found the cat. Now you won’t have to nag

     Mom says, very slowly, “Let the cat out of the bag.”
