CYRIL THE SKUNK

1.  Deep in the valley of Tennessee, roams Cyril the Skunk,

     Friendly as can be

     Now somehow Cyril’s growing ran amuck

     And now he is roughly the size of a truck!

     A one-ton kitty with black and white fur

     What do you call him? You call him “Sir!”

CHORUS: When Cyril says you do something, you say, “Yes, Sir!”

                When Cyril says don’t do it, you say, “No, Sir!”

                Better mind your P’s and Q’s or Cyril will be after you

                ‘Cause if your manners stink then so will you…P.U.!

2.  Now normally polecats are as sweet as can be

     But Cyril has this thing for good manners you see

     If you talk with your mouth full of food

     Cyril considers that to be incredibly rude

     And it throws him into a fur-flying funk

     When someone has the manners of a punk

3.  It puts this skunk into a horrible mood

     When he hears bad words and people being crude

     When he hears a “gimme, gimme, gimme"

     It throws him into a terrible tizzy

     It turns him into a mean old grump, when someone butts in and interrupts

4.  Now remember kids, Cyril still roams around

     This polecat that weighs two thousand pounds

     So if you’re rude or act like a jerk

     Cyril will give you a most bodacious squirt

     So mind you manners and etiquette

     Or he’ll teach you a lesson you’ll never forget!
