1.  The ghosts went out on Halloween, to see who they could scare

     They flew all up and down the street all in the moonlight air

     They flew all around the whole darn town, looking for little lost kids

     But all they could find was a little baby kitten and this is what they did

CHORUS: First they went, “Boooo!” Then they went, “Aaaaahhhh!”

                They shook and shivered ‘til they were done.

                The little baby kitten ran and hid and waited for the morning sun.

     But the kids weren’t afraid of the ghosts

     So this is what the little kids did!

                The ghosts all flew back to their home

                And hid from the morning sun.

4.  So the ghosts will wait for next Halloween to see who they can scare
